How to configure your device for UHVPN access

We do not provide support for Linux, however it is possible to connect to UHVPN at your own risk on Red Hat and Debian distributions:

  1. Install one of:
  2. Open terminal and type sudo apt-get install libwebkitgtk-1.0 to install the GUI
  3. Run Pulse Secure from Applications or from /usr/local/pulse/pulseUi
  4. Add a connection with uhvpn.herts.ac.uk as the name and the URL, then save the connection

How to connect to UHVPN using Ivanti Secure Access Client / Pulse Secure

  1. Open Pulse Secure
  2. Connect to uhvpn.herts.ac.uk
  3. Enter your ab21cde@herts.ac.uk username and password and connect
  4. Remember to disconnect when you have finished
